What about Worship?

WHAT TO EXPECT

When you are ready to enter the worship area, ushers will hand you a guide to our worship service. You'll find plenty of seating. Sit anywhere that feels comfortable. Once the service begins, you will hear our pastor introduce the theme for the worship service that morning. You will find the entire service is printed in the worship folders. The service is also displayed on the screen in the front of church.

We follow something called a liturgy, which is just an order to worship that keeps us centered on the good news of Jesus. During worship, we will pray, sing, and read from God’s Word as written in the Holy Bible. Our Pastor will preach a sermon, explaining how one of these readings directly impacts your everyday life and most importantly, your relationship with God.

There will be an offering (please don't feel obligated to give). If it is the 1st or 3rd Sunday of the month the congregation will celebrate communion - something we'd be happy to share with you once we've had a chance to sit down, talk about it, and study God's Word together. And then we leave with God's blessing.

Children in worship

We believe that children belong in the worship service. The gift of faith and salvation belongs to both young and old. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt. 19:14)

Every other Sunday, we invite our children to come forward to listen to a special Children's message that is timely and age-appropriate. Pastor loves to teach them with props, make them laugh, and share the love that Jesus has for all of them!

SERVICE INFORMATION

Our worship services usually last just under one hour. We encourage first time guests to sign our Guest Book in the foyer either before or after the service.
