Where does Jesus fit in?

• He fits right in the middle, between a holy God and sinful people, between God's righteous anger and gracious love."There is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)
• Man he was born, yet God he remained. "For in Christ all the fullness of the diety lives in bodily form." (Colossians 2:9)

• He was perfect man in our place. He was the perfect substitute to satisfy God's justice. "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:19-21)
• That's why He died on the cross of Calvary -- "The Lord laid on Him the iniquity of us all." (Isaiah 53:6)
